Local Officers Attend WCR’s Midyear Meeting
(WASHINGTON, D.C.—May 17, 2007) Officers with the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors joined real estate professionals from around the country for WCR’s Midyear Meeting in Washington, D.C., May 17-20, 2007. Attending were President Sheila Conquest (Coldwell Banker Snow and Wall), President-Elect Kelly Gafford (Sims Realtors), and Secretary Sheila Alexander (Re/Max Elite).
“I was able to gain a broader perspective about the real estate industry both with national information and professional development,” said Gafford. “This new perspective will help me assist my clients in making the best home buying choices.”
Established in 1938, WCR offers professional development, as well as a trusted support system where members can grow both personally and professionally to achieve their next level of success. WCR has the strength of a national association with local accessibility through more than 280 chapters. For information visit the WCR Web site at www.wcr.org or call 800-245-8512.
In its 69-year history, WCR has never been more relevant to the real estate industry than it is right now. Every day, WCR provides the tools to take dynamic real estate professionals to the top of the industry, through education, networking, mentoring, business-building strategies and referrals.
WCR members are industry leaders who earn more, learn more and achieve more. The core of WCR is a strong grassroots base of 16,000 national members in more than 280 local chapters. Based on commission income, WCR members are twice as productive as the average REALTOR® and are better established in the business. And that, in turn, means they are better connected to the communities they serve.
